I noticed the other day that you can now verify your website on Pinterest. This process is slightly more complicated for hosted wordpress websites than self hosted ones, but fear not, it can be done!
Simply follow Eric Lingenfelter’s instructions here.
When you’re finished, your link will have a nice reassuring tick beside it – like so:
You’re welcome

Howdy! Do you know if they make any plugins to protect against hackers?
I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked
hard on. Any tips?
Hi Shad, I think you may only need plugin’s for self hosted wordpress sites (correct me if I’m wrong!). This guy has an article on the available plugin’s, although I can’t see a date on it so am not sure if the information is up to date:

Thanks for dropping by!
Thanks for the info, I have added a bookmark.
ah, still can’t work for my wordpress. but thanks for the link
Hi Shirley,
I had to try it twice before it worked – I’d missed some minor details in Eric’s instructions the first time. Might be worth giving it another go? I can’t remember exactly what I missed the first time, but I know it has to be a new page (not just a new post), you need the .html at the end of the page title and the page must be published. Once your site has been verified by Pinterest you can delete the page. Eric has replied to some of the issues other users had on his website so it might be worth browsing through them.
What error are you getting?
Sue
